Gist: From the beginning Scripture reports God’s power by speaking light into existence by His Word. The
course of history continues to prove that darkness can only reveal its grip when confronted by light. Jesus
understood that wherever He was, darkness would be revealed and vanquished. Little by little dark became
light and prophecy became truth. One by one they became fishers of men.
